Another Pirate Days weekend has come and gone. Since moving to Westport it one of my favorite weekends of the year and as a bonus this year we were blessed with beautiful weather to go along with the festival. This year I didn't really do many portraits as I have in years past. My girls are getting older and I opted for more family, shopping and food time this year. I can't let Pirate Days go by without getting my German Garlic dog from Bay City Sausage along with an elephant ear or two. I did, however, attend a couple of the events solo and was able to get some pretty cool images. The first of those events was the black powder display put on by the Dred Ship Outrageous Fortune.

This cannon was insane and when it was fired you could feel it in your chest
The other event I got to attend was the performance by Fire Light Circus and I am really glad I was able to make it. They put on a fantastic performance in front of a very enthusiastic crowd. If you are having an event or party you should look at booking these guys they put on a great show.
